The Library of Light

Located in Seeker's Rest in the Stumps, the Library of Light is the primary repository for knowledge in the city of Din'Lux. Housing over 500,000 volumes, the library requires an extensive staff to keep the collection organized and properly maintained. The library has been funded by a number of families and organizations over the years, including the Temple of Ziva, the City Council, the Duskrider family, and the illustrious Mountagne family.

While its doors are open to the general public, there are many sections of the library that require special permission in order to access. Tunnels beneath the building itself are where most of the more sensitive materials are stored, including books of power, fragile documents of old, and rare tomes of value.

Owing a good portion of its financial support to the Duskrider family, the library has an intimate relationship with the Seekers' Guild, headed up by Leera Duskrider herself. The guild even has a space in the library to store records and to house their extensive collection of books and items collected over the years.
