Blackberry Ale

Blackberry ale is a famous drink within the Kingdom of America, made popular by King Henry II of America. The ale is described as having a tart taste, with some variations being sour. Many variations have been brewed, but the most sought after and expansive varieties being those brewed by the companies owned by the Royal Family.

History

When King Henry was on the frontier of America, being an absentee monarch, he had a palette for ales and beers of the common people. However, being on the fringes of the frontier, many of the ingredients were difficult to acquire and supply. Therefore, the king requested a brew made from edible local vegetation. Blackberries quickly became one of his favorite delicacies, and an ale was eventually brewed into a drink.   Upon his various and brief returns to the capital, he brought the drink with him. He established many different breweries to supply himself with the concoction. It was eventually made available to the public, and it became associated with the monarchy as a whole. The ale became popular within the nobility and the common population, as King Henry was popular among the American people for his everyman persona.   The breweries that were established by King Henry are still owned and operated by the Royal Family, attributing to the wealth that is accumulated. In the modern era, Crown Prince James is notable for preferring other drinks than blackberry ale. However, this has not diminished the popularity of the royal breweries and the ale itself.

Observance

The ale is a popular drink among the Fourth of July celebrations, being associated with the American identity as other delicacies such as apple pie.
