Columbia Palace

Columbia Palace is the Royal Residence of the King of America and their immediate family. The current resident of Columbia Palace is King Henry III.

Purpose / Function

Columbia Palace acts as the residence and workplace of the monarch of the United States and their staff. This includes any children aside from the married adult children, as well as the offices of the Secretary to the Monarch and any support staff. The Prince of Boston and the Grand Duke of Philadelphia, the two eldest sons of the monarch, reside in the Red Palace and the Morris Manor respectively.

Valuables

The palace does not house any major jewels of the Royal Family aside from the personal jewelry of the Queen of America and princesses. The Royal Crown and Royal Field Sword of Louis Ferdinand are housed in a separate vault.

Architecture

The Palace is designed in the neo-classical manner, just as the other federal building in Columbia are. Smaller than most European palaces, the building still maintains over 300 rooms. This includes more than 100 bedrooms, staff offices, 30 bathrooms, and 9 staterooms. The palace includes a vast garden area and a parking lot that fits dozens of vehicles.

Defenses

The defenses have been updated many times over the years. Columbia Palace is guarded by members of the Crowned Dragoons. The building also includes bulletproof windows, reinforced doors, secured phone lines, and advanced computer software.

History

Under the rule of Henry II, Columbia Palace was maintained solely as the workplace of the monarch's staff as he preferred to reside on the frontier and the royal hunting lodges. The Palace was again occupied by Edward III.

I like how the building still has its old classic look despite being massively upgraded with modern tech,
