Crown Prince
The title of Crown Prince, also styled as the Prince of Baltimore and Grand Duke of Maryland, is given to the heir apparent to the throne of the monarch. While holding no official powers granted by the Constitution, the Crown Prince has historically inspected many government funded buildings and organizations in lieu of the monarch. This practice began with the first Crown Prince, Louis Ferdinand, and Prince Augustus when they first inspected training and conduct at the Officer and Engineering Drill School and later the Royal Academy of the Arts. In the latter, the two also began the tradition of the Crown Prince inserting submissions, including Louis Ferdinand's musical compositions.
