Lindissët
"The Lindissët is good reason to remain paranoid of the Keebs. While the priests are creepy and their king is a secret savage, it's the Lindissët that keep me awake. Ask any elf and they'll tell you that aside from normal harem politics, the queens are simply responsible for the bureaucracy. What they won't look at directly is the fact that the queens also have a spy network that reach even beyond this continent. If you find an elf blade piercing your pillow at night, it's a good bet that there's a harem assassin at the hilt.
"And they have eunuchs so... yes. Unsettling."
~Archmage Dulacar, of The Brass Tower
Structure
The Lindisset is led by the Chosen Queens. Each has a host of royal concubines and eunuchs that fulfill the bureaucracy needs of the elven kingdom. They also employ a host of assassins and spies that each report up the chain ultimately to one of the queens.
Public Agenda
The official purpose of the Lindisset is to keep the kingdom functioning smoothly and with continuity. It's no secret that each of the queens plot against each other socially (and worse), and they have a rivalry that occasionally boils over into violence with the Airimossë.
