Personal history
Minson was born to wealth and privilege as the scion of the Howes, a long line of alchemists who founded and now own and operate the Spectacular Trouble establishment.
His Becoming was a quest to find a rare ingredient, and most suspect his parents had something to do with choosing it. He quested into the Badlands for a rare lotus. Most of his expedition did not return, but he was ultimately successful.

Rather than be loyal to him, these proprietary "berserker homunculi" are hyperviolent monstrosities that will attack anything near them that isn't Minson himself. After 2d6+1 minutes, these berserker homunculi burst in a caustic cloud that lasts 1 minute, and deals 1d4-1 acid damage.
