Giccabul
The commander of a legion is called a giccabul.
Requirements
To be named by the Catbalus as a giccabul of a legion, an individual must have served as a vulum for at least five years, and must be a Poreibar̂um.
Appointment
When a need arises to appoint a giccabul, the Catbalus nominates and elects a Poreibar̂um from within its ranks to serve in that capacity. The length of the commission depends on the purpose of the legion in question. If it is a garrison legion, the commission lasts for three years. If it is a legion levied for the conduct of a specific military campaign, the commission is until the campaign is completed.
