The Sovereign Supreme appointed Hanzhou to be the Ethereal Prime Minister during the Ascendancy of Dragons. During the Fall of Dragons, he tried to defend the Eldest Titan and struck first at Rogiq, but she evaded and delivered her own counterattack, slaying him in a single blow.
