The High Bastion
The High Bastion stands tall and imposing, a massive circular tower guarding the western corner of the Fortress. It is the lynchpin of the city's defenses, boasting formidable features that fortify its strategic importance.
Descending into the basement reveals a foreboding complex housing a dungeon, interrogation chamber, and oubliette, all serving as grim reminders of the tower's authority. On the first floor, bustling offices hum with administrative activity, while the second floor accommodates private prison cells, shrouded in an aura of secrecy and confinement. Ascending to the third floor unveils a well-stocked armory, a crucial resource in times of conflict. The fourth and fifth floors are fully equipped to house and outfit additional defenders, standing ready to bolster the city's protection if the need arises. Finally, the crown of the tower is adorned with a parapet encircling its summit, providing a commanding vantage point for defenders to rain down defensive fire upon any threat to the city below.
