The Westmarch
The Westernmost portion of Ritilian territory, along the coast of the Avcabun Sea, is a region called the Westmarch. Its seat is Evtuet, which was ruled by a Pagelpilum until the creation of the Westmarch in 1364, at which time the then Pagelpilum, Baterus Ventigius Banuac was raised to the dignity of Awatcovum. This region sees frequent raids from the west an occasional raids from brigands. The Calpian Empire denies all knowlege of these raiders, but they are exceptionally well trained and equipped for mere brigands. In any case, the Westmarch fulfills an important role in the defense of the Principality on its western flank.
