Eldurfjord

Eldurfjord is a castle in a strange section of land, owned by the Osman family. Unlike most lordships, the land, title, and keep were purchased with money (as opposed to earned). The structure sits on top of one of the furthest reaching southern fjord from Fjordstrond. The territory itself sits on a boundary where both Fjordstrond and Eldurgrund had claimed territory after the Augury was established. The head of the family at the time, Dinithor Osman, held a meeting between the barons of each territory in order to purchase the land for himself. While the keep and territory were independent for a time, the Augury eventually took notice and put the territory under the reign of Eldurgrund, along with a temporary tax break for the inconvenience.

Architecture

The structure is a keep that sits close to the fjord. The walls go out far in a semi-circle, ending at the fjord's edge. Another portion goes subterranean, with a series of small windows looking over the waters in the east. The keep is shaped like a series of 3 domes that overlap. The architecture in and around the keep resembles portions of both Fjordstrond and Eldurgrund, and their latest additions have resembled the sandstone brick post and lintel architecture of the late Taktaalak people.
