Warren II
Baron Warren (a.k.a. The Robust)
Warren II was the sickly son of Warren, The Chummer. Warren II had long been a disappointment to his father due to a lack of fighting or ruling ability. The Chummer never paid much attention to his son's cunning and personable skills. If he had, perhaps he would not have suffered a mutiny.
Warren II managed to take claim over Steirvem and the easternmost drowned island but never managed to defeat Abbot's haseti. Warren had hoped that rather than a haseti, he could rally support amongst his population and create a civilian fighting force. unfortunately, Warren did not have a mind for war or battle tactics, resulting in the slaughter of his civilians in Steirvem. This lost almost all of his support as well as his islands to Abbot I.
Many view Warren II as only having one redeeming factor: his son, Warren III. Warren II simply never had the appropriate knowledge to fulfill his role and didn't have stable enough relations with his enemies to utilize his cunning.
Death
Warren II's death is shrouded in mystery, with no references to his life being found after The Steward's War. It is possible that Warren III wished to have his embarrassing father's references removed from history but failed to accomplish this goal in totality. Most assume that the failed baron simply died of age and illness, forgotten on his deathbed.Modern Influence
Warren II has little influence on modern ideologies given his little-known history. However, the man's putrid attitude and countenance have inspired stories and plays of rotten Saltkrigere emperors.Physical Description
