The Prophecy of the Strand-Blooded

A prophecy granted to a cult of criminals that formed in Jurejun. It spoke of future events which the The Strand-Blood Cult were meant to prevent.

The The Blood-Strand Prophecy came from the "trees" of Jurejun and the beings that they channeled. The signature trees were quite strange, almost entirely resistant to rot, and had caps on each of their branches. Supposedly, sand would fall from the trees and onto the people beneath them, granting visions quite often. The self-made priests were the ones that made sense of the visions and commanded the prisoners that decided to join the families. While there were several cults within Jurejun, The The Strand-Bloods were the largest and strongest (as they claimed the territory with the most mature trees). Over time, the deity that spoke to them revealed its name to be "Chal Churdour," and it would educate them more about itself as they prepared for their Voyage  .
