Ald Badebe
"The gate to Bast, that was left wide open." - Ken Nesnei Denneb, North Court officerAld Badebe is one of the newest cities in the nation. It is more closely an amalgamation of villages along the main road leading along the border of Bast and Dost. The city follows the road but citizens from the west will often claim they are in a different village than those next to them.
The western parts of Ald Badebe are more traditionalist while the eastern parts are more industrious and expansionist, this leads to frequent ideal clashes. Every third building is said to be a square for public speech, a tavern for arguing or a dueling ground for settling arguments.
Farming is the main business in Ald Badebe east while trade is the driving force of the west.
Demographics
The east is primarily Alkken and Ammaken, it is seen as honourable to not be considered a Renken.
The Eastern parts are more likely to have Renken as the stigma is less there. People of Dost will often settle here, as well as the rare Gypts, though they will often be, or claim to be, a member of Dost.

Government
Ever since the war the Warden of the North has established a presence in Ald Deyna. The local Lan has less authority than many due to this and the Warden has less concern for the civilian side leaving the city less strict on law.
Defences
The city is mainly worried about attacks from Bast and since it sprawls east and west, making traditional defenses hard to maintain. Instead towers that have ranged catapults and ballistas in them sit throughout the city - the lack of metal does make them prone to breaking after the first volley though.
Industry & Trade
Food is grown in the West, primarily grains and cattle, then sent east. The eastern reaches will then export them as well as other crafted goods - including rare goods from Bast that are hard to get elsewhere.
Assets
Even during times of war, the quick surrender of Ald Deyna has allowed illicit trades with Bast to continue. Even when new people moved in as the old were exiled these practices proved too beneficial to stop.
Architecture
The more expansionist reaches have taken to adding Bast trimmings to the traditional style, mainly in using stone and adding chimneys or struts from it.
