Gangs of Ald Alamek

Bal Nadbaso

The public face of Bal Nadbaso is that they manage the water supply of Ald Alamek, it is publicly known that they are a criminal gang lead by Ken Behhe though.They control access to the water and run protection rackets, mainly on fire protection. They are willing to burn down a building if their fees aren't paid.
There name is a joke, it can mean "Keepers of Narrow Water" since they are set up on a narrow street but also can be translated to "Keepers of the Weapons/Water".

Nai Kaesa

The Nai Kaesa run the dueling grounds in the city, to use them you must register with them. They demand "favours" from those registered or they will have them be challenged by skilled fighters who may injure them or ruin their reputation. Ken Rablas Kearen runs the group. They also acts as assassins, the wealthy can have people be challenged and the group will make sure they have no way out of it, leading to their death in a dueling "accident". The Wood Knights will do work for them and also partially run them, using them for their own ends.

Free Dost Campaign

A group in the Renyan Unitary who try and convince people to send aid to the Dost Liberation Movement. Many of the members are expats but others, such as those that remember the war with Bast, also join up. They aim to Send supplies to Dost and rally political forces to boycott Bast until they recognise the independence of Dost.They are lead by Twiceborn the Freer.
