Originally a place of idealism, its society was founded on the belief that humans needed to earn the affection of the Young Gods, proving their worth to both them and Laruna. Showcasing a culture centered around being tested by the deities, citizens of Highland place their temples, and honoring the gods, above all else. In recent times the kingdom’s territory has eroded substantially as the precept of glorifying worship of the Young Gods has taken severe hits in other cultures. The knights and sentinels of Highland are considered old fashioned relics by most other kingdoms, whose stringent belief in honor and duty is considered too rigid for modern times
Geography
The highlands are a beautiful location worthy of vacation due to the access you have to muptiple climates and . The Highlands have the Port Shea which is a cluster of small islands, which means you can get to the ocean. They have large mountains near the capital city, and a variety of terrain such as forests, planes, and even the cold tundra in the north west of the region. The River Tinese also runs through the region, giving a fresh source of clean water; and an abundance of wild life.
