Darian Rebellion
The era of Darian rebellion came after the era and war in The Isles referred to simply as the Darian Terrorism. The period of Darian rebellion lasted for 24 years and was a struggle between The Darian Pirates which occupied the government and land of The Darian Isles and the remaining people and military of the former and original nation. After The Pirates took over The Isles, they immediately took over all aspects of life and deployed troops to all the islands to seize resources and maintain control. Those who previously were either soldiers, officers, militia men, or politicians of the previous government and were still loyal to old rule began dispersing to start forming and inspiring rebel units. These units and cells comprised of civilians and soldiers willing to fight in an organized way and take orders to free themselves from Darian Pirate rule. The decision for these patriots to disband to all the islands was in order for them to not be destroyed by The Pirates in one fight, and also make sure that all islands had some sort of rebelling force on them.
Well respected people took up leadership and would smuggle contraband in to supply their rebels. They would stay low, hiding in the obscure parts of the islands as well as at sea, like The Pirates themselves did in the era of Darian Terrorism. Their most common strategy was to use hit-and-run attacks on The Pirates and skirmish with them in small groups. The organized rebels were outmatched and stayed down for most of the era of Darian rebellion in order to not be wiped out.
A second form of rebellion and revolt existed separate of the organized kind, where cells of patriots, military and government leaders, and militia men came together to fight. This alternate kind was just called unorganized rebellion, which was where civilians would riot in villages and would kill Pirates openly. These rebellions sometimes formed into more organized ones though when the rebels found that strategic organization and tactics would lead to better survival and would be better for their goal of freedom from The Darian Pirates.
In the end the Darian rebels didn't receive much aid from other nations due to the more serious Ral War which was drawing attention, but The Aiden League did send some supplies to them to help their revolts since they viewed The Darian Pirates as a threat that was to close with The Tar Faction. Albeit the supplies weren't much, it was enough to make a difference.
The rebellion would last years and got more violent as time went on. More villages became organized and were in open revolt against the occupying Darian Pirates.
The conflict ceased on the 212th of 1957 where The Darian Pirates actually surrendered themselves. While in the beginning they were able to keep rebellion down, it got harder and much bloodier in the later years of the era as more and more people were in open revolt against their rule. The Darian Pirates knew they couldn't sustain control and since The Ral War was over and The League was free, fear began to form of their possible involvement. And so a decision was made out of fear and certainty they couldn't continue the rebels, Darian Pirates, and members from the three nations of The Aiden League all came together and discussed the surrender. The leaders of The Pirates would be apprehended and The Darian Isles would be given back to the people. The only terms were that the leaders would be imprisoned in The Aiden League and would be comfortable, and the lower Darian Pirates would get time to disband across Lasarian and preserve themselves. This marked the conclusion to Darian rebellion against The Pirates and a start to them rebuilding.
