Keka Garrel
Chairwoman Keka Garrel
Keka Garrel was a senator in the Ral government who eventually became chairwoman and had a term from the 21st of 1876 to the 19th of 1881. Keka was made chairwoman because she was not controversial among the senators and could be trusted with power in the time of peace they had found themselves in. During the last year of her term the crisis with The Salican Dynasty started where citizens from The Salican Dynasty were fleeing into Ral for protection. When Zuor began negotiations with Ral on the 12th of 1881 Keka refused his request to come into the nation to retrieve his citizens as she thought of him as a cruel king who would torture and kill the refugees on sight. After she was out of office The Ral War began shortly afterward with Derek Guy as the new chairman. Keka returned to her region of Iosc to govern over in The Ral War to help in a local way.
After she was out of office she served as a governor in the east and was eventually killed by assassins sent The Tar Faction in the year 1891 during The Ral War. Keka was remembered as a regular governor, the last normal and regular one before their bloody period of war.
Social
Religious Views
Keka encouraged free thinking atheism while being agnostic herself.
During her reign she used her power and support she had in the senate to keep The Orthodox Church from getting a new patriarch in Ral after Patriarch James Suxu died. Many opposed this but after The Ral War began no one had the time to care and appoint a new religious leader.
