Raktari Abira
Leader Raktari Abira
The Abira family was a family gang and criminal cell within the Tar Faction. Raktari, born into the family in the 1850th year, grew up smuggling, fighting, and operating with her family and their gang members at a young age. Her main job was to smuggle contraband throughout the lands and to do contract work for the government as a mercenary. Despite not being an official officer of The Tar Faction's military or government because she collaborated with them so much, she earned a reputation as if she were one. She had a bad relation with her family because of her greed, ambition, recklessness, and general disregard for the safety of others when it came to doing her job.
Rakari rose through the ranks of The Tar Faction's government when she was a young adult and became more affiliated with the government and its high leaders. Eventually, against all odds, on the 250th of 1899, she became the leader of the entire nation through her popularity among the leaders and her promises to them that she would protect and favor their crime syndicates. Raktari appointed Heaenden Yun as her second in command of The Tar Faction. The two were close and knew each other from the mercenary work they did in the past. Together along with the council they ruled The Faction, maintaining internal control and security, continuing with criminal operations, and a formidable military.
Upon the 34th of 1879, when Zuor Salican became king in the north west Dynasty, he gave his family positions of power, took over the government, and began killing the Christians and anyone who opposed him. He and his cousin, Teri, organized The Var Church and began the war and invasion on Ral on the 73rd of 1881. The opportunistic Raktari and Heaenden both saw an opportunity in what was happening in the north, and they allied with The Salican Dynasty and entered the war against their old historic rival, Ral. Raktari allowed The Var Church in her faction to express her alliance with The Dynasty and their state religion.
Raktari commanded from the front lines and fought with her soldiers. She was extremely experienced with fighting, and also had the desire to make sure she commanded everything, leaving no room for anything to be messed up. She also wanted to be alongside her soldiers because she felt it would be dishonorable and cowardly to not fight in the war herself. During her reign, she made lots of progress and won many battles in the war.
Heaenden, unlike Raktari, did not fight and stayed in The Tar Faction to oversee the council of high criminals, maintain their operations and internal security, and also coordinate with Zuor and his The Salican Dynasty.
On the 243rd of 1899 in a small Ral village, a large attack happened where the Rals fought and tried to push back against The Tar Faction in a desperate attack. Raktari fought in the skirmish, and since her men were unorganized, caught off guard, and spread thin, the battle was lost, and she met her demise to an unknown enemy soldier who killed her. Raktari's death led to enormous setbacks for The Tar Faction in The Ral War, since there would never be another person like her who could lead such successful military campaigns. Shortly after Raktari's death, Heaenden rose and took over the position of leader.
Rakari would be remembered as a warmongering leader of the criminal nation to the south west that had come from humble origins, forsook her family, killed and smuggled with little to no remorse for morals, allying with corrupt powers and helping start The Ral War, and leaving a mark on Lasarian history. Her fighting alongside her troops set her apart from other leaders, even though she was very cruel to her enemies and even her own people.
