Shadow Lurkers
Also known as Demon thieves for they are naturally born thieves. Be it because of their upbringing in a thieves guild or because of their abilities.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Thief demons aren't the most appealing to the eye. Their gray skin and sunken body reminds of an undead. They have a horn like growths under their skin on their shoulders. two medium sized horns, also under skin, adorn their head as well. Their eyes have white pupils and irises.
They have poison glands under their nails, fangs and eyes. They are often seen with black smearing under their eyes. It is the excess poison being evacuated. The poison in eyes doesn't serve as much for poisoning others as for increasing their own vision prowess.

Ecology and Habitats
The ones living in the Abyss live either in dark, dead forests. Cause they feel serene there for some reason. Or skulking in any civilized place, looking for things to steal. The ones on Lavir mostly stick to towns.
The guild halls are where everyone gathers and are located in discrete locations that people tend to avoid. Like sewers for example.

Additional Information
Social Structure
Demon thieves gather in guilds rather than tribes.
A guild has a leader and a few upper rank members.
Everyone contributes to a guild's well being or is thrown out. Life of a demon thief is hard enough without dead weight.

The poison in the eyes of demon thieves gives them Darkvision.
Civilization and Culture
Major Organizations
There are multiple guilds of demon thieves. The two most prominent ones is the one located in Abyss, not too far from the demon king's court and the one in Doubla. (both need names)
Common Etiquette Rules
They are allowed to steal and even kill if need be. But there is a difference between killing mug some rich guy or killing some poor hobo for no reason. Acts like that are often regarded with disdain.
Common Dress Code
Demo thieves tend to dress light and in colors that help them blend in with their surroundings. Often they try to cover their demonic aspects like with their most popular clothing a kerchief around their mouth. Meant to hide their fangs when they talk.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Demon thieves have always been stealing hence their name. They don't even remember when or why it started, but it's their way of life. That's how they were raised and that how their rise their kids.
Common Taboos
As mentioned earlier killing penniless without reason isn't accepted. Same goes for street urchins. Most demon thieves know way too well what its like to be like them.
On the other hand being a good samaritan and distributing the loot to the poor is bad practice as well and could get one thrown out of a guild. Things stolen are meant for the wellbeing of the guild, not for others.
