Falcon's Lodge. Lumber Yard. Enter Toph.

28 - 30 Marpenoth, The Year of Twelve Warnings (1494 DR)   Neverwinter Wood, The Sword Coast       When the adventurers arrived at Falcon's Hunting Lodge, they discovered it had been overrun by orcs and a giant boar with lighting dancing across its tusks and fur.    They also found Corwin, Falcon's cook, dead. It was clear he had been slain by the orcs.    However, Falcon and the boy, Pell were nowhere to be seen. Falcon's only horse, a warhorse named Baatorius was missing as well. It seemed Falcon and Pell had managed to escape. But why had Corwin not escaped with them?   The battle with the giant boar and the orcs was brutal but in the end, the adventurers prevailed.    The next day, under clear skies, the group decided to travel to the lumber yard northwest of the lodge.

Two days later, they arrived at the loggers' camp. There, they discovered the camp appeared to have been abandoned.    It turned out, the camp had been attacked by a trio of ankhegs that had slaughtered every logger in the camp. Only the camp's owner, Tibor Wester, had survived by hiding inside his office building.    Toph, a human rogue, joined the adventurers in the fight against the ankhegs. Toph had arrived from the city of Neverwinter by hitching a ride on a supply riverboat piloted by an old human man named Lennard who was ferrying supplies to the loggers' camp.    After defeating the ankhegs and rescuing Tibor, the group stayed overnight at the camp. When asked if Tibor had seen a female elven wizard pass through the area, Tibor said the very same woman had been at the camp two days before. She said her name was Asandra. She had paid four human mercenaries who were staying in the camp to travel with her to the ruined town of Thundertree, some 15 miles west of the camp. However, two of the mercenaries left for an area known as the Dragon Burrow somewhere along the High Road south of Neverwinter. Tibor overheard the mercenaries mention something about a sword that could be found there. The mercenaries said that the sword could be used to slay the dragon, Venomfang who was lairing in Thundertree. Asandra sent the two mercenaries to Dragon Burrow while she and the two other mercenaries left for Thundertree.   The adventurers decided to meet Asandra in Thundertree.

It took an additional two days to reach Thundertree.    In the ruins of Thundertree, the group encountered giant spiders and had to briefly fight Venomfang, a green dragon that wasn't quite an adult yet but was just as dangerous.    When the group entered the tower where Venomfang's lair was, they found the dragon battling against Asandra and her two mercenaries. During the fight, Venomfang, bit one mercenary in half, killing him instantly. Asandra, along with the remaining mercenary, fled through a glowing portal atop a dais inside Venonfang's lair.    Brimsdall and Stones wanted to chase after Asandra but had to deal with Venomfang first.    During the short battle, Venomfang was severely injured despite injuring some of the adventures too. Not wanting to die, Venomfang fled, flying through the tower's open roof.    Brimsdall and Wink went through the portal while the others collected Venonfang's treasure into Stone's Bag of Holding.    They then stepped through the portal.
