Shirdal
The Kingdom of Shirdal is one of many kingdoms in the land of Locbroalm. Made up of 6 different provinces, Shirdal is known as the technology capital of Locbroalm thanks to its use of trains and airships.
Established on 13 Cluems 1200, by Liam Astrid, Shirdal has become one of the most important countries in Locbroalm in recent years due to its advances in technology and medicine. Unfortunately trouble both in and outside of Shirdal's borders have resulted in a significant decrease in Shirdal's political standings.
History
Military
The military is divided into two separate bodies. The first is the Shirdal National Military. This is comprised of primarily commoners and is directly run and lead by the King of Shirdal. The other military body is the Noble military. Each Noble that runs a province has their own Noble Provisional Army that handles the day to day security of that province along with any requirements that the Noble head of house has. These armies are primarily made up of other Nobles but can also have commoners in them.
Shirdal’s national military has around 110,000 trained members. The Noble Houses have another 40,000 trained military members that make up the Noble Military. The King may only call upon those members if the Noble houses agree to send them to help.
Technological Level
Shirdal’s technology is far more advanced than any other country. It has trains and airships at its disposal. This has given them an advantage when it comes to the military and one of the main reasons other countries have not wanted to enter into war with them.
Religion
Currently Enlil is the god that most Humans pray to. People are allowed to pray to any god they wish.
Foreign Relations
Shirdal has positive foreign relations with most countries in Locbrolam except for Gryerlth who they are about to go to war with.
