Genetics and Reproduction

There have been reports that hellhounds are actually bred in Hell. Lucifer denies this and says they're naturally occurring in the environs of Between, similar to wolves. Regardless, they do seem to breed and reproduce similarly to terrestrial dogs.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Hellhounds have the paranormal ability to track their quarry without fail. They may be delayed in finding the subject of a contract, but they will find him eventually. There are no known techniques for breaking the connection between a hellhound and its contract subject short of a termination of the contract.
