Multiattack. The roc makes two attacks: one with its beak and one with its talons.   Beak. Melee Attack: 1d20+13 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 27 ( 4d8+9 ) Piercing Damage.   Talons. Melee Attack: 1d20+13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 23 ( 4d6+9 ) Slashing Damage, and the target is Grappled (escape DC 19). Until this grapple ends, the target is Restrained, and the roc can't use its talons on another target.   Dive Attack. The roc dives 120 feet straight downward and makes an attack with its talons. The roc has Advantage on its attack roll and deals an extra 14 4d6 Slashing Damage if it hits. It must be at least 120 feet in altitude to make the dive, and it cannot use multiattack.

Legendary Actions

The roc can take 3 epic actions, choosing from the options below. Only one epic action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's Turn. The roc regains spent epic actions at the start of its turn.   Beak Attack. The roc makes a beak attack.   Climb. The roc flies higher and higher, gaining 120 feet of altitude.   Dive Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The roc dives 120 feet straight downward and makes an attack with its talons. The roc has Advantage on its attack roll and deals an extra 14 4d6 Slashing Damage if it hits. It must be at least 120 feet in altitude to make the dive.   Seize (Costs 3 Actions). The roc moves up to half its speed makes an attack with its talons. If the attack succeeds, and if the target is a Huge or smaller creature, it is Grappled (escape DC 19). Until this grapple ends, the target is Restrained, and the roc can't use its talons on another target. Whether or not it is successful, after the grapple attempt, the roc can move up to half its speed once more.
