The Scaled Guard
The Scaled Guard is the Vespmaran military force, and can be found inside most cities within its borders but also patrolling the landscape. They work alongside the other protectorates of the forest, though they do not readily admit that there is anything in common between them and The Order of Kindred or Thellyne's faithful.
Structure
There are four commanding ranks:
- Drake - an officer in charge of a settlement, outpost, or fortress garrison
- Wyvern - an officer in charge of calvary, artillery, or arcane forces
- Virago - an officer in charge of the (all female) assassins network
- Serpent - an officer in charge of the more covert spies and operatives that work in the shadows of Vespmar but also the other regions of Lorannis
