Eastern Realm, Zeto

Self-contained and foreboding, the Eastern Realm is home to the sturdy Dwarven race who were created in the image of Titherimoose itself. Its territory includes the Darngarum Mountain Range crescent, closed off from Zeto by two stone gates, a single work chiseled from the mountain range. Despite controlling a sizable portion of Zeto, most residents elect to live in the mountain’s caverns, with only a tiny contingent of surface dwellers to protect its border.   Though most races can be found in the Eastern Realm, the population is overwhelmingly Dwarven but with a healthy smattering of subterranean creatures such as rock gnomes, kobolds, goblinoids, drow, and ceilings. Blessed with low-light vision, the denizens of the mountains see no need to leave their homes to venture onto the surface, the caverns a protective barrier to the cruelty and hardship that lay beyond.   Construction within the subterranean portion of the realm is done masterfully; the three major cities are connected by a unique rail system dubbed the Darngarum Delivery Device which hastens travel throughout the entire realm. Unlike the rest of Gia, the Great Freeze did not alter how citizens settled the land; the residents continuously expanded by carving out earthen pockets to create family-oriented villages with access to the Triple D rail system. As the carts whiz by, one can be amazed by all the dancing lights and the view of a thriving population.   The Eastern Realm of Zeto is referred to globally as the wealth of Gia, its mountains containing vast quantities of gems and diamonds and the only known naturally occurring molten rivers. One of gold and the other of silver, these rivers combine to create the world’s supply of platinum. Using Telsmir Adamantine forges, Darngarum has become the largest coin and precious metal bar mint; their currency is shipped across the globe as required. Darngarum has the ability to create its own money, and the denizens in the capital city live as such.   Goverance - Hammerbreakers The mountain is set up as an aristocracy, the Great Dwarven Lords deciding the best way forward for the population. While initially more hands-off, the expansionist movement of the Great Freeze required more guidance on the proper technics to expand cities based on population and resources. While not technically required anymore, the tradition holds, and the Dwarven Lords are integral in everyday life.   Under the authority of the Lords are the Shieldbreakers, the realms recognized militia. Clad in full plate, these soldiers are hardy and formidable forces who perform all security and protection needs. Law breaking is dealt with in a traditional court system of incarceration and trials, the jury consisting of the noble families of Darngarum. Those found guilty can face penalties from fees, spearheading the construction of a new mineshaft, or even imprisonment. However, there is no death penalty in this society, as all life is seen as sacred through the eyes of Titherimoose.   Economics The Eastern Realm is the largest industrial market and global exporter of mining equipment, each product having the Darngarum guarantee of excellence. The city is also home to the Mustov Mining Company leading mining operations experts, who typically travel with the exports for demonstrations or to conduct work globally. There is no disputing the authority of Dwarves when it comes to understanding mining and earth consistently, making the company highly sought after,
