Daren Austin Tarquin
The complicated, always angry Daren Tarquin is the feared bully of Temple Valley High School. For most of his life, he had suffered at the hands of his alcoholic, homophobic, and abusive father Roger Tarquin. When his father feared that his son might be a homosexual, Roger severely beat Daren for years, threatening him with all kinds of lies. He even went so far as to hire a prostitute to ensure his son would only be interested in women.
Daren is a junior at Temple Valley High School and a member of the high school's Track and Field and Football teams.

Daren enjoys a peaceful relationship with and holds respect both Cody Byrnes and Colton Kelly, though their friends (i.e. Tracy Whitcomb and Tommy Brinn) can't figure out why.
