Temple Valley High School

Temple Valley High School is a public high school that supports the Kinderhook, NY area students. The high school is famous for its positive outlook academic achievement and its faculty are known for going the extra mile to help students succeed. Temple High welcomes the diverse population of the area and supports a number of extra-curricular organizations such as the Temple Pride Gay-Straight Alliance   Behind the school building, a large combination athletic field and running track doubles as an assembly area for tented events such as Temple Pride's Back to School Barbecue. A dedicated football field is set beyond the athletic field/running track. When facing the front of the school, the student and faculty parking lots are to the right.

When Skyler Phoenix arrives at the Kelly residence, their son Colton Kelly tells Sklyer he will be attending Temple High with him and his friends, and thusly introduces Skyler to his circle of friends. He also use his good standing with Coach Gerald Tomlin to add Skyler to the Temple High Track Team's roster.

Purpose / Function

Temple Valley High School strives to provide a quality learning community focused on the unique needs and goals of its students while creating an environment of academic success with integrity.

Architecture

Temple Valley High School is modeled after Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, New Mexico.   The bulk of the new high school is now housed in single two-story building with interior circulation, which minimizes the need for students to move between buildings. The new front entry is obvious and welcoming; while administrative areas have been configured to provide excellent visual control of the entry, student commons, and outdoor student courtyard. Classrooms & support spaces are well proportioned and infused with ample daylighting.—Source
