37th - 41th Sessions
General Summary
The party talks to Albert. They are concerned that the Time Clan will cut his arms off for thievery. They learn that the penalty is to work off 120% of the value of the stolen goods in a work camp and that the value of the missing art wasn't actually that much. The party gave Albert the option of them turning him in to work off his theft, or joining the Time Clan foreign legion. He chooses the later and they drop him and turn in all the missing art.
The next day (5/5/8499), the party picks up the halfling saddle they commissioned from Galla at her shop, the Silk Blossom taking Alle with them so she can show Galla her art in hopes of finding a patron. Galla gives them the saddle, ensuring that it fits and then she looks at Alle's sketchbook. She generally doesn't patronize art students, but she offers to show the sketchbook to other Old Ones who do. She hints that there will be a gathering soon which the party may have access to and Alle may have the opportunity to bring the painting, though she does warn the "Drew" doesn't enjoy heroic portrayals of himself and that Alle should be discrete with showing.
Galla seems taken aback when she learns Allekrier's name saying that it's a very old name that lost popularity after the time of Great Upheaval, meaning it's before Galla's time and strongly recommends that Alle goes by her surname of Gershom and not even by her nickname. Neither the party, nor Alle can think of a reason why her name would be so offense to the Old Ones.
The birth of the new Clanish prince is announced 6/5/8499 across Horace and Desmond Glade. With the announcement comes gifts to citizens of the land as well as a series of contests and tournaments to celebrate. Crimson tries and fails to get an invitation to the birthday ball that occurs on 9/5/8499 as she has make connections to High Society Clansfolk.
Tasha enters and wins a song writing contest, getting 60 gp pieces and sometime with the Old One judges Ronen Ariza and Chantel Roco, Mattis's mother.
Caspian enters and wins an archery contest, winning 60 gp. Theo enters an melee challenge and is eliminated in the first round.
Ellie, Caspian and Theo with Daniel and Skyla enter a 5 man team tournament which will be fought over the course of a few sessions.
During the tournament time, on 10/5/8499, the day after the birthday ball, the engagement of Princess Eirianwen Chronos to Colonel Andrew "Stoneface" Goldblade is announcement through proclamation in the city centers by criers. Later that night, an envelope addressed to "Goldilocks, Triple T, Flower Man and Manifesto" crossed out with their real names written in a different hand, inviting them to the engagement party on 16/5/8499 for the power couple and giving each of the party a plus one. Ellie telepathically contacts the Colonel to congratulate him. He accepts her congratulations and asks her to not contact him in this manner again, especially not for casual things, non time sensitive things.
On the day after the 5 man tournament, Caspian gathers a bouquet of flowers and takes a walk in the forest surrounding Desmond Glade with his girlfriend, Alle. He proposes marriage to her. She cries and says "yes." They have not decided on a day for marriage, but they may take advantage of the marriage registration tax waiver in place in honor of the royal engagement.
TLDR: The party forces Albert to join the Time Clan version of the foreign legion to keep him out of trouble. Theo and Ellie get the halfling saddle they previously commissioned. Galla's going to show Alle's work around to other old one, and tells her not to use her first name. A new prince is born with competitions organized in his honor. The party participates, including in a 5 man team combat contest, which they win 48 gold each, dragon pellents, ord of direction, eye of the eagle, a portable clock, and a flameless lantern. It's announced that the princess and Colonel are engaged (Yay!) and Caspian proposal to Alle is accepted.
