Brilk

Brilk is a small town in the Leonis Lowlands located southwest of the Lowland Swamp. By all accounts it is a quite, peaceful, and generally wholesome place to live. The people live mostly on farming and fishing from the Salt Straight.
Many years ago the town would periodically be flooded with members of The Hunter's Lodge when rumors of some powerful creature in the swamp would start up. Eventually a dire gator was found and it was all believed to be a hoax created by the mayor at the time to drum up tourism. Since then very few outsiders come to Brilk, and usually only as overflow from The Drunken Penguin when it is all booked up from holiday travel. That gator's head still hangs on the wall of the wall of the towns only tavern, Gator Alley
The only thing that shatters the small dying town image is The Gilded Dragon Gentleman's Club located on the edge of town. It is home to a few minor lowland nobles. They keep to themselves and the towns people give them a wide berth. The general assumption is they are up to something illegal, but since they leave the town out of it and almost single-handedly pay the town's taxes, everyone turns a blind eye.
