Personal history

Born into a devout family of Bahamut worshippers, Riza was viewed as an anomaly among the kobolds of Saleth due to her peculiar scale coloration. Fearing it to be a bad omen, her family sought refuge for the young kobold in the welcoming embrace of the Temple of Bahamut in the city of Rhene. The temple gladly took her in, dedicating themselves to raising her as an upstanding member of society and fostering her connection to their revered deity.   However, as Riza grew older, the sheltered life within the temple walls became stifling. Yearning for excitement and adventure, she would often venture out into the night to indulge in mischief. It was during these nocturnal escapades that Riza discovered her natural talent for lockpicking, using her agile claws to gain entry into neighboring buildings. She would pilfer curiosities and trinkets from these locations, more intrigued by the mysteries they held than by any material wealth.   One fateful night, during a grand celebration of the Platinum Dragon, Riza's mischievous endeavors took a disastrous turn. She was caught red-handed by one of the paladins of Bahamut, triggering a chaotic chase that resulted in damaged merchant stalls and shattered doors. The temple authorities, upon investigating her room, were astounded by the sheer volume of random relics they discovered in her possession. Shocked by her actions, they decided on a severe punishment.   Riza was not only excommunicated from the temple but also condemned to years of imprisonment within the dungeons of Rhene. It was during her time in captivity that an enigmatic elven figure named Veanor Irithyl, leader of The Maeon Archeological and Encyclopedist Society, appeared within the prison walls. Intrigued by something he saw in Riza, he approached her and offered her freedom, on the condition that she join his up-and-coming guild. Eager to escape her harsh confinement and finally utilize her talents without repercussions, Riza accepted the offer with enthusiasm.   Emerging from the depths of the Rhene dungeons, Riza became an invaluable member of the guild, specializing in traps and locks. Her expertise in finding hidden passages and uncovering secret chambers has proven invaluable to the group's expeditions. With her sharp wit, quick reflexes, and a willingness to take risks, Riza has repeatedly rescued her companions from dire situations. The guild members have come to rely on her as their resident expert in all matters related to traps, locks, and uncovering the secrets hidden within ancient tombs and forgotten ruins.

Education

Riza has had an adequate education from the temple of Bahumat. Outside of this, she has no formal education. Most of her knowledge came from lectures from Veanor Irithyl or from her time stealing oddities in Rhene.
