Anatomy
The appearance of yuan-ti varied greatly from nearly human-like to nearly snake-like, but all had some serpentine features. Scale colors were usually simple greens and browns, but more elaborate swirls, stripes, or diamond patterns were possible, even in blues and reds.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The Yuan-Ti can see perfectly in the dark. Some of the more Serpentine members of the race can have a acute sense of smell which allows them to track any individual in their surroundings.

Beauty Ideals
The Yuan-Ti belive that the more serpent like a member of their species is, the more valued they are. Thus their beauty standards are often much different from traditional standards.
History
The Yuan-Ti were one of Maeon's first sentient races. Created by the Blood Goddess Estikal from the primordial snakes which ruled the jungles and sea, The Yuan-Ti spread far across early Maeon. They were gifted in the magical arts, due to the fact that Estikal herself woud leave her divine realm in order to personally teach them.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
The Elves and Yuan-Ti have a long history of conflict. As such any members of each respective race will not get along.
