Diane was born and raised in Varetta . After attempting to pickpocket Twilight, a priest of Shar , she was taken in by the Varetta's temple of Shar.  During her time as a novice, she learned herbalism from John Dunn .
Diane was active in The Circle for the entirety of its existence.
Following her activity in The Circle , she elected to remain in Safe Harbor and last accounts report that she is sailing Wildspace with various ships. She routinely returns to Safe Harbor to visit Bateau and Francois Gaston .
