Nael
Numerous, civilised, and well organised, the war-like Nael first arrived in Aluvian lands and claimed by force most of the lands of the Protectorate of Cincoria, establising the new Kingdom of Klarnos. They quickly expanded through the Great Lunarlian Plain and established a vast province that is now called Siyen. Their grand ambition to seize the whole of the Great Lunarlian Plain led to a series of bloody conflicts, which became known as the Great Plains Wars, in which they battled with the Aluvians of Lunarlia. In fairness, it should be pointed out that not all of the Nael were war-mongering conquerors. Many of them chose to migrate farther north. Here they were welcomed by the Herbalish of Bautar, who permitted them to settle onthe plains south of the Adon River and the Chah Mountains.
The Nael peoples eventually retired from the Great Lunarlian Plain and gave up their territorial claims to the region. They resolved many of their disputes with the Aluvian nations, even joining forces with them to repel the Vaderish in Northern Magnamund. However peace between the Aluvians and Nael was short lived and today the Stornlands has descended once more into a tense peace.
The Nael culture has mixed with the Aluvian culture over centuries of generations, yet the Nael are still known for their aggressive attitudes. They may lack the strong faith of the Aluvians and Vaderish peoples butthey make up for it with stubborn determination.
