The histories tell that he was in charge of the base at Ythryn before it fell to an unknown calamity in MS 1100. All institutions in that city recognized Iornathas as the ultimate authority in that city, over all other Great Ones . This set him at odds with the greater number of Great Ones in the Shianti Empire .
Iorlanthas currenly exists as some form of spirit, spending most of its time in the central towers of the city. He cannot physically interact with the world without utilization of minor telekinetic spells.

General Physical Condition
As a Nadziranim, Iorlanthis is a dark spectral entity with no corporal body. The only phsycial component of his body that remains is his skull. It floats in the position where his head once rested. When inactive, his skull rests on any horizontal surface.

Iorlanthis greatest possession if his Staff of Power that he often stores in his personal lab. Given his spectral status, he cannot carry or trigger any of its effects but he guards it jealously.
