She was taken prisoner by two Illithid , and watched as her friends were eaten alive. She was saved by the The Antiquarian Association during The Id Ascendant Encounter . She has persistent nightmares concerning her time of mental enslavement.
Kayla returned to her tribe following the Exploration of the Lost Spire of Kalte . The Antiquarian Association and Striper escorted her to them.
