Zakhan Khalil al-Assad
Khalil (formerly al-Assad) is the grandson of the Black Zakhan and current Zakhan of Vassagonia. In his youth, Khalil adventured under an assumed name throughout the Haunted Lands of Vassagonia and south into Kakush and northern Dessi. Khalil is an accomplished warrior preferring the light armors and bladed weapons of his culture.
Khalil has sought to increase the outreach efforts of his father, Zakhan Kimah. He has expanded relations with Durenor. Overall, Khalil is an optimistic ruler and works against the more xenophobic elements within his government.
Khalil endorsed the inclusion of The Circle in resolving an incursion of yikaria in MS 5084 and was overjoyed at the Establishment of Safe Harbor .
