Makilari is a vamphyr, and has been for over a century. He was born as a human noble in Slovia , but has been infected with the poryphyric virus for so long, he no longer identifies with humanity. He enjoys hunting down and feasting on other victims of the poryphyric virus, often letting the virus take its path for some time before slaying his victims.
In the past he has run afoul of Baktar . Baktar's martial skills make him the equal of Makilari, or at least a threat.
