Mug Ruith
(a.k.a. The Green Man)
Mug Ruith is a Human male, hailing from the Stornlands region. He stands over 6ft tall, but moves slowly and has grey hair and a beard. But, through his perceived frailty, he exhibits great strength.
Mug is one of the original druids, hailing from before the fall of the druids. He escaped the fall by assuming the stewardship of the Eternal Garden . It was only decades after the fall, that he learned of the end of his people. It haunts him and he often feels like a coward for not being there at the end.
Mug's sole motivation is the stewardship of the Eternal Garden . He deals with hostile forces that find their way in, and negotiates and keeps the peace among the fae that reside there. On occasion, he has granted sanctuary to powerful beings that need a peaceful place to rest. In one instance, he allowed a Dragon to rest there for decades with the understanding that no denizen of the garden would disturb them.
He owes his long life to his continued presence in the garden. The Fountain of All Heal keeps him healthy, while the time dilation of the garden has extended his lifespan. He does not know what effect exiting the garden would have on him.
