Niles is the owner of Sleds and Stalls in Ljuk . He has always gotten along better with dogs than humans so he made a living as a young man driving people across Kalte via dogsled.
As he got on in years, and more people moved to Kalte , he established a business in Ljuk selling trained sled dogs as well as ferrying people across the land in his own carts.
His father, Edwin Thrall was handed up as a sacrifice to Auril in the town of Ljuk at the end of December, MS 5096. From this he gained a deep hatred of the Ice Witches of Kalte and will take any action to cause them harm.
