Several Illthyri, Shianti subrace noble houses invade Dessi, using underground tunnels to rise up in the mountains. They quickly dislodge the Dessi Battle-Mage s defending the area and seize the southern half of the country.
The southern border along the Tentarias is defended by the remaining members of Slavers of the Yellow Sails and mercenary fleets purchased with slaver's gold.
