The final battle between the forces of King Ulnar of Sommerlund and Darklord Vashna at the Maakengorge.

The final battle between the forces of King Ulnar of Sommerlund and Darklord Vashna at the Maakengorge.   The first few months of the final advance of Darklord Vashna saw the Darklord armies rolling across the plains. Multiple town and cities were razed by the Darklord armies while King Ulnar of Sommerland gathered Sommlending and Durenese forces to oppose them.   The final clash happened at Moytura pass at the edge of the Maakengorge. King Ulnar, using the Sommerswerd finally slew Darklord Vashna and cast him into the Maakengorge. This resulted in multiple earthquakes that expanded the Maakengorge and devestated the surrounding settlements.   King Ulnar was praised as a hero, and the Sommerswerd was turned over to Durenor for safe keeping.
