Druin Dria
The oldest nation in Magvel, a formerly grand empire that has fallen considerably from its seat of power. In the past, a monarch known as the Driast wielded near-absolute authority over the land. However, in recent times, power has been diffused among the various noble households that make up the kingdom. The noble households must be reined in if anything is to be accomplished. However, these noble families are often at odds with one another, and much time and energy are spent on political maneuvering and intrigue.
The nation has a rich history of magic and some speculate that the first magic users were the founders of the nation. Whether or not such rumours are true, Druin Dria's deep history has been irrefutably shaped by magic for better or for worse. Despite its decline from its former glory, the Kingdom of Druin Dria remains one of the oldest and most culturally rich nations in Magvel. The legacy of magic runs deep in its history, and the kingdom has long been renowned for its powerful mages and skilled enchanters. They see themselves as the guardians of the ancient magic that has shaped their land and people and are determined to preserve this legacy for future generations.
Drudrians hold to the belief that their nation is the greatest, a glorious pillar of tradition and culture. They are fiercely loyal to their communities and would be willing to spend their whole lives arguing if it meant getting a reform passed in the imperial court. When Druin Dria was a more united land loyalty was extended toward the nation as a whole, allowing them to make international moves with extraordinary efficiency.
The kingdom faces many challenges, both from within and without. Its economy is struggling, and its infrastructure is aging and in need of repair. And with the rise of new nations and powers across Magvel, the Drudrians are finding it increasingly difficult to maintain their influence and dominance on the international stage. Despite these challenges, the people of Druin Dria remain resolute and determined. They believe in the power of tradition, the strength of their cultural heritage, and the importance of magic and the arcane arts. And as they work to overcome the obstacles ahead, they remain united in their commitment to building a brighter future for their kingdom and their people.
Government
Laws are developed and passed through the Imperial Court, an assembly of the noble houses whose meetings are conducted by the Prime Minister, who is almost always the head of House Tychon due to their loyalty to the Driast. Justice is passed through the Latopolis [High Court]Culture

At some indeterminable point, the Teluae Forests sprung up suddenly, blocking off many roads causing much difficulty in traversing the nation, this resulted in lords acting far more independently to manage their lands, at first out of necessity and eventually out of what they believed to their right, losing much of their former obedience to the Driast . After many years these uppity nobles were placated with privileges and the establishment of the Imperial Court, which granted them much more political power.

House Tychon has long been the most loyal to the Emperor, though this likely stemmed from their location in the imperial city, rather than being far off and able to act as they please. This good relationship with the Empire has yielded them advantages however, including additional privileges that make the other houses look on in envy.
