I'l Sagir

Druin Dria's Limitless Library

I'l Sagir is a monument of the wisdom assimilated by Druin Dria since time immemorial, the so called limitless library, a title which the custodians aren't too fond of, believing it will distract from the fact that search for knowledge is a never ending quest. Within it's ancient walls is a copy of nearly ever book that has ever been written, including centuries of forgotten history. Much to the ire of it's keepers and visitors alike however, there are significant sections that have been sealed off magically by a former caretaker who died before undoing the seals. Since no one has been able to break the seals these sections which were closed for various reasons, including cleaning, indexing, and containing knowledge that was to be removed from the public's view, are now essentially lost to the world. Since many of the records of what was stored away were lost as well, no one truly knows what knowledge is held within these sealed chambers, nor what else may be stored within. The custodians of I'l Sagir are dedicated to preserving the knowledge contained within the library and ensuring that it is accessible to future generations. They employ advanced techniques for preservation, including climate-controlled storage areas.

Purpose / Function

I'l Sagir, is the monument dedicated to the wisdom assimilated by the Empire of Druin Dria. It is both a library and an academy, the site where is developed and stored.

Alterations

Additional rooms and floors have been added on since the library was made into an academy as well, to ensure that as many people could learn within the halls as possible, without disrupting the normal functions of the library. An old Driast once said that he wished every youth of Druin Dria could be educated within, that the nation might overflow with knowledge.

Tourism

Any scholar or researcher dreams of going to I'l Sagir at least once in their lifetime, for nowhere else in the world is there a collection of knowledge so vast and available.
