Strife Ages

During the period of time known as the Strife Ages (AOS), the world of Magvel was under assault by numerous extraplanar forces. When all hope seemed lost, eight mortal heroes discovered the divine source and partook of it to ascend to divinity. With their newfound strength, they could banish the invading forces from the realm and establish an era of extraplanar peace for the inhabitants of Magvel. The ensuing era was named the Age of Blessings (ASA) in honour of the gods and the peace they created.

Historical Significance

Legacy

There are countless works centred around this foundational event including plays, literature, songs and ballads and various works of art including, murals, statues paintings and more. Finneus Goldbow, a legendary bard, was known for his epic poems and ballads that celebrated the deeds of the divines and the heroes of Magvel. His works are still celebrated today and are considered some of the finest examples of Magvelian literature. Additionally, a festival known as Magvel Day commemorates the allied victory.
