Coming and going through the years, an individual known as "Garabor the Wise" traverses the region.  He does predentary rituals to bless the land.  Professor Eloise Ophin of the Alderidge Academy knows that Garabor uses his time in the nearby Blumenpom to encourage academy students to explore the darker arcane arts.  The mage hired our adventurers ensure that no further corruption was spread.

The mage hired our adventurers ensure that no further corruption was spread.
Our heroes turned aggressive quickly after meeting the priest.  After driving him out from the Apple Core Tavern, they pursued him to the cemetary where he had a mausoleum full of undead already created.  The party slayed Garabor the Soilrot but found themselves in a dangerous social dilemma.  While they promoted the greater good, the people of Blumenpom had adoration for the insidious man and multiple citizens had witnessed the conflict in the Apple Core.  In the end, the heroes fled in the night, buried the corpse, and forced march back to the academy where they slept for the next 36 hours.
