The Silver Wardens assaulted the ruined keep after an invisible Wulfgar's investigation. Wulfgar attempted to start the assault by assassinating King Yamarz but the plan miscalculated open size of the open gap between the forest edge and the keep walls. Hordes of goblins fell under Jorg's Fireballs, Torinn swept through the battlefield absorbing attention, Valen bolstered the companions, Deryn served as the last bulwork to rise when all seemed to fall, and collectively the organized menace of King Yamarz's tactical counterstrike was dispatched as the hobgoblin fled to the dungeon.   A trap was laid in waiting as a gate slammed down, separating the party.  What the goblinoid king did not expect was Torinn barreling through, breaking the stone that sheathed the portcullis itself.  A heavy final commensed in the subterranean feast hall. The battle ended with King Yamarz battered back and forth within his armor before being electrically fried.   Valen and Torinn ate of the feast while Jorge resisted a supernatural temptation to do so.  Wulfgar and Deryn were not tempted at all by it either supernaturally or personally.  With the smallest of rests provided, only Silug the Shrill remained.
