In need of work, a collection of adventures gather together in Galley View. Under pay of the Phaloxil military, the band of mercenaries set out to find the cause of an attacked riverboat carrying goods.

In need of work, a collection of adventures gather together in Galley View. Under pay of the Phaloxil military, the band of mercenaries set out to find the cause of an attacked riverboat carrying goods. The heroes were led by Deryn Silverstar as the liason to the Phaloxil military. Also joining the adventer was Jorg Durrin, Valen Sheepmender, and Aurora Atwood.
The mercenaries found the boat along a river shore inhabited by goblins. The boat was splintered and covered in large claw marks with all goods absent. Following lost or chewed upon goods along the river and up a creek, they discovered a small clan of troglodytes feasting and paying homage to a giant crocodile. The heroes slayed the troglodytes but had to retreat from the crocodilian. The heroes chose not to return in antagonism to the beast.
