Weeding the Weedwood

Expedition

The Silver Wardens travel to the Weedwood to seek out the Ruins of Tolktair.  The keep was the center of golblinoid influence in the region.  The party gained an ally in the trapper Mira Gilsdottir and experienced first hand the eternal hunger of the region.

The Silver Wardens travel to the Weedwood to seek out the Ruins of Tolktair. The ancient castle has been taken time and again by raiding goblinoids throughout the Age of Community. During the parties expedition, they found the Weedwood devoid of rich life, consumed by the fasted growing opportunists, and personally subject to the eternal hunger of the region.   The party found an ally in a young woman who grew up in the wood. Mira Gilsdottir was a trapper by existence and the only remaining mark of a retired Phaloxil soldier turn hermit. Mira informed the party on the ClenchMaw Kingdom and their leaders:

• King Yamarz: militant hobgoblin general ruler
• Borba: the "Fang Chief" (hunting party leader) massive bugbear
• Silug the Shrill: the otherworldly goblin shaman of the ClenchMaws.

  During the party's expendition, they attempted to lay an ambush for the hunting parties but in attempting to do so too far away with the scent of food as their draw, the attempt gave the party away in the long run and allowed them to be ambushed during their travels the following day. After the slaying of the Fang Chief, no returning hunters prompted Silug to send familiars to collect Flesh Tokens from all the party though Jorg managed to avoid this nocturnal harvest.
