Drongfub

A hobgoblin monk, Drongfub was betrayed by his superiors and cast out of hobgoblin society, eventually joining the adventuring party known as Spagma.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Drongfubs harsh training under the Kuzon Imperium has greatly strengthend his arms, allowing him to even block sword strikes with unarmored hands.

Specialized Equipment

While capable of inflicting great damage with his bare hands, Drongfub prefers to fight with an iron carved quarterstaff, shattering the bones on his enemies.

Personal history

Like most hobgoblins, Drongfub was born into the stricted regiment of the Kuzon military. He was trained in the martial arts to become an Ironskin Monk, training his body to withstand harsh blows. But eventually, his regiment suffered a humiliating defeat, and a superior was able to falsely pin the blame on him, and he was banished. He migrated east inflicting violence until he was stopped by Lughi’a Hafqu’umu, and was honor-bound to join Spagma.
After Spagma migrated north to Lochport, the group befriended a fellow adventuring party named Those Who Knock. After they went missing exploring the Lorel Lake, Drongfub and the rest of Spagma went to find them. After rescuing them and fleeing from a horde of swamp goblins, Drongfub and the rest of his party were captured by the powerful fey Cuberth Bulltlerbuts, and forced into his service, sent north to Mol-Mirek to locate a powerful relic.
After a series of harrowing adventures, Drongfub and the two adventuring groups eventually made their way into the heart of Mol-Mirek, and was able to retrieve the relic, the Skull of Kyleth the Wise Troll, said to hold incredible amounts of knowledge and secrets of the natural world. Cuberth than emerged and demanded the relic as his birthday present. Lionslayer gave the relic over, and Cuberth summoned the troll's spirt, hoping to learn his secrets, and unleashed the troll spirt and his gremlin horde on the parties as a "birthday dance". During the battle, Drongfub defeated many gremlins, but was eventually badly wounded and left on the ground, ignored by the rest of the combatants. After Lughi'a engaged in a fierce dual with Cuberth that left him missing all his limbs, Drongfub and a similarly wounded Lionslayer crawled over to their wounded leader, disheartened to see the one who had bested them brought so low. Drongfub decided that it was time for him to leave, and offered a deal to Lionslayer; lets put Lughi'a out of his misery and flee back to Ardlam. Lionslayer agreed, but as soon as his guard was lowered, he sunk his toxic claws into Drongfubs back, slaying him, before also slaying Lughi'a and fleeing into parts unknown.
